"Symbol of Gratitude: Tree Plantation Ceremony at GDC

A commemorative tree was planted at the Government Degree College and Postgraduate Centre Latifabad on the occasion of Youm-e-Tashakur (Thanksgiving Day) to pay tribute to the unmatched sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces and to express love for our beloved homeland. The plantation was carried out by Principal Mehmood Ali. He stated that this sapling is not just a tree—it symbolizes our love, gratitude, and patriotic spirit. When future generations sit under its shade, they will be told that it was planted in memory of the brave sons of the soil who are the first line of defense for our nation. Principal Mehmood Ali further remarked that Youm-e-Tashakur is a day to salute the high morale, courage, and patriotism of our armed forces. "We will never forget the sacrifices of those who gifted us freedom and security." Students and teachers also participated in the ceremony with great enthusiasm and raised passionate slogans in love for the country.
